ITsAmsterdam at SAS D[N]A Café

2021-04-22 16:30:00

on April 22 another edition of the SAS D[N]A Café will be taking place. It will be broadcasted live from the Amsterdam Skills Center, the high-tech and world-class medical training and education centre for health care professionals and surgical teams. In this Café you will hear the story of ITsAmsterdam, one of the fascinating hacking teams of the SAS global hackathon health care track. Gall bladder removal is a surgical procedure done frequently by surgeons all over the world. During the procedure the surgeons need to gain a clear view of different anatomical structures involved in safely removing a gall bladder. The goal of the ITsAmsterdam hackathon team is to develop a computer vision model to automatically assess the safety of the surgical removal of the gall bladder.

Sign up for SAS D[N]A Café to hear first-hand experiences from the ITsAmsterdam hackathon team and discover more about how data and analytics can save lives.
